The Owner invites tenders for:
Upgrading five (5) pedestrian crossings for safety in five separate locations across the City. Each Site has a specific combination of streetscape improvements which could include catchbasin leads, curb bulges, pavement, pavement markings, signage, and lighting.

The five (5) locations are: Rumble Street at Hedley Avenue; Oakland Street at Brantford Avenue; 9282 University Crescent to 9319 University Crescent; Cardston Court at Keswick Park; and Hunter Street at Bell Avenue.

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors for the area of specialization of 2.0 –
Roads may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for
Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #31-02-22 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital
Works).

No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the Owner. All addenda, amendments or further information will be published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca.  It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates. The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.
