The Owner invites tenders for Roadworks and streetlighting Works on Byrnepark Drive between Southridge Drive and Marine Drive.  The Work approximately includes: 

• 1,390 square metres of asphalt mill and overlay;
• 420 square metres of new full depth road pavement structure; 
• 560 square metres of concrete pavement in parking lanes;
• 420 metres of concrete curb and gutter;
• 400 square metres of 2.2m wide concrete cycle track;
• 695 square metres of 3m wide asphalt urban trail;
• 200m pipe railing fence;
• 590 square metres of grass boulevard;
• 4,000 cubic metres of common excavation;
• Permanent pavement markings;
• 14 Rainwater Management Amenities, including drainage structures, located in boulevards;
• 2 Double Catchbasins; and,
• Roadway lighting.

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors for the Area of Specialization of Roads may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #31-02-22 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Works). 

No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the Owner.  All addenda, amendments or further information will be published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca.  It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates.  The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.
