The City of Burnaby invites Tenders from experienced and qualified general construction contractors to complete the specified Work, as further detailed herein. The issue of these documents does not confer any licence or grant for any other purpose.

An OPTIONAL site visit for this Tender will be held on June 8, 2023 commencing at 10:00 A.M. Tenderers are requested to meet in front of Community Police Office #4 located at 4501 Kingsborough Ave, Burnaby, BC V5H 4V3. All optional site visit attendees must complete a Police Information Check before the site visit as per Attachment N – Optional Site Visit Instruction. Sub-Contractors may join the site visit.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY, shall be received by the on-line bidding system. Hardcopy submissions not permitted.

Tenderers are cautioned that the timing of their submission is based on when the Tender is RECEIVED by the on-line bidding system, not when a Tender is submitted, as transmission can be delayed due to file transfer size, transmission speed, etc. 

For the above reasons, it is recommended that sufficient time is given to complete your submission and to resolve any issues that may arise. The closing time and date shall be determined by the on-line bidding system’s web clock.

Tenders will not be opened in public. All unverified results will be posted on the Owner’s website by 10:00 am the next business day after the Tender Closing Time and Date.
