The intent of this Request for Quotation (“RFQ”) is to obtain Quotations to supply and deliver fire hoses as specified. The issue of these documents does not confer any licence or grant for any other purpose.

The City intends to place one (1) order for the 2023 requirements. Subsequent “as and when requested” orders may be required. The City may shortlist qualified Contractors and enter into non-exclusive “as and when requested” contracts for a period of three years from the date of contract award. Non-exclusive means the City reserves the right to direct award future purchases to one Contractor, seek direct quotes from the shortlist or publically compete the requirements.
