The City of Burnaby (”City”) invites submissions for the pre-qualification of design-builders interested in submitting a proposal bid for the proposed James Cowan Theatre project utilizing a Progressive Design Build approach. The City intends to pre-qualify design-builders for the proposed James Cowan Theatre project. The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion to adjust the number of pre-qualified design-builders invited to submit a proposal for the design and construction of the proposed James Cowan Theatre Project. Under a Progressive Design Build approach, the design-builder delivers the project in two phases: • Phase 1 includes pre-construction services including developing statement of requirements, schematic design, progressive project cost estimating, and the negotiation of a firm contract price; and |
