The Works include improvements to the City’s Frances–Union Cycling Corridor along the following roadways:

• Union St. – Esmond Ave., Grove Ave. to Sperling Ave., Duncan Ave., Drummonds Trail;

• Georgia St. – Ingleton Ave.;

• Frances St. – MacDonald Ave., Gilmore Ave., Alpha Ave., Beta Ave., Gamma Ave., Howard Ave., Holdom to Fell.

The Works include but are not limited to the installation of new concrete curbs, sidewalks and letdowns, asphalt roadway milling, asphalt roadway and MUP paving, streetlighting, catchbasins, catchbasin leads, topsoil and sod, pre-cast parking curbs and delineators, raised crosswalks, signage, and pavement markings, as well as the removal of existing signage, and eradication of existing pavement markings.

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors for the Area of Specialization of Roads – 2.0 may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #70-05-25 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Works).  No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the Owner. All addenda, amendments or further information will be published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca.  It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates.  The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.
