The Owner invites tenders for:

The Works shall include but not limited to the installation of approximately 3,300 metric tonnes of roadway asphalt, 16,000 square meters of full depth milling, 3,000 metric tonne of Owner supplied RAPCON, localized deep base repairs, 1,100 lineal meters of asphalt drainage curb, drainage, landscaping, restoration, excavation, reshaping, concrete sidewalk, letdowns, and driveways, tack coat, and traffic control.

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors for the Area of Specialization of Roads may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #31-02-22 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Work).  No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the Owner. 

All addenda, amendments or further information will be published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca. It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates.  The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.

The Contract is based on the MMCD Platinum Edition for the Instructions to Tenderers - Part II and General Conditions.  The MMCD 2019 Edition is applicable to this Contract for the Specifications and Standard Detail Drawings.
