The City of Burnaby’s (“City”) intent of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to obtain Proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to supply, deliver and install parking meter equipment, including any related support, to replace the existing aging meter equipment, and to expand the City’s parking meter program. Over the next 3-4 years, the City anticipates purchasing parking meter equipment to manage approximately 1800 on-street parking spaces. The successful Proponent will provide connected parking meter equipment (pay stations) in order to provide parking payment security, a variety of parking payment options for users, and parking technology that enables the City to address demand-based pricing, occupancy, and compliance.
