The Owner invites tenders for:

The Work shall include, but is not limited to pavement improvements, concrete curb and gutter installation, concrete sidewalk installation, common excavation, removals, road drainage, thermoplastic line painting, signage, street lighting, speed reader boards and RRFB installation, communication ducting and landscaping across seven (7) Sites.

The performance of the Work shall be along the following schools:

1. Windsor Elementary School – Imperial Street from Waltham Avenue to Randolph Avenue;

2. Nelson Elementary School – Nelson Avenue at Watling Street & Rumble Street fronting Nelson Elementary School;

3. Second Street Community School – 1^st Street at 17^th Avenue & 1^st Street at 16^th Avenue;

4. Marlborough Elementary School – Marlborough Avenue at Sanders Street;

5. Taylor Park Elementary – Southpoint Drive at Mission Avenue & cul-de-sac at Mission Avenue;

6. École Inman Elementary – Inman Avenue at Price Street & Inman Avenue at Brandon Street;

7. Morley Elementary School – Morley Street from Walker Avenue to Malvern Avenue.

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors for the area of specialization of 2.0 – Roads may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #31-02-22 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Works).  No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the Owner. 

All addenda, amendments or further information will be published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca. It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates.  The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.
