The City of Burnaby invites Tenders from pre-qualified Mechanical Contractors s to complete the specified Work, as further detailed herein. The issue of these documents does not confer any licence or grant for any other purpose.

PRE-QUALIFICATION

Following Request for Qualification #169‐08/24 Pre-Qualification of Mechanical Contractors, only the following pre-qualified General Contractors will be invited to tender this project:

1) All‐Pro Services Ltd.

2) Broadway Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

3) Cobing Building Solutions Ltd.

4) Entity Mechanical Ltd.

5) Fortius Mechanical Inc.

6) Honeywell Limited

7) Just Mechanical Ltd.

8) Ram Mechanical Ltd.

9) Trane Canada ULC

An OPTIONAL site visit for this Tender will be held on November 17, 2025, commencing at 11:00 A.M. Tenderers are requested to meet in front of the Eileen Dailly Pool located at 240 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby, BC. Sub-Contractors may join the site visit.  

Given the complex nature of the project, which involves opening an existing roof to remove the old unit and install a new one, Tenderers are strongly recommended to attend to familiarize themselves with site conditions, access limitations, and other requirements. 

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY, shall be received by the on-line bidding system. Hardcopy submissions not permitted.

Tenderers are cautioned that the timing of their submission is based on when the Tender is RECEIVED by the on-line bidding system, not when a Tender is submitted, as transmission can be delayed due to file transfer size, transmission speed, etc. 

For the above reasons, it is recommended that sufficient time is given to complete your submission and to resolve any issues that may arise. The closing time and date shall be determined by the on-line bidding system’s web clock.

Tenders will not be opened in public. All unverified results will be posted on the Owner’s website by 10:00 am the next business day after the Tender Closing Time and Date.
