The intent of this Requestfor Proposal (“RFP”)is to obtain Proposals a Sewer Cover Water Level SensorProgram (“Project”) for the City of Burnaby (“City”) as further detailed herein.

The City intends to award a two (2) year Contract, with options of up to three (3) individual one (1) year Contract extensions for a total possible contract term of five (5) years, to supply and install sensors for monitoring storm and waste water levels for approximately one hundred (100) sewer holes within the City, as outlined in the RFP and in accordance with the attached terms, conditions and requirements.  The City reserves the right to award a Contract in whole or in part to one or more Proponents.

The Sewer Cover Water Level Sensor Program is a two phased approach.  Phase 1 is the supply and delivery of twenty (20) sensors within three (3) months of initial Contract award. For Phase 2, the City anticipates ordering approximately an additional eighty (80) sensors, which would be supplied and installed by the end of the initial Contract term, which is approximately over a twenty one (21) months span from the initial Contract award date.
