The City of Burnaby (“City”) is requesting Proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to provide supply and deliver all products and services required including all skilled labour, tools, materials, equipment for an indoor and outdoor wireless infrastructure and support Solution to the City and any other requirements, as further detailed herein.

The City intends to deploy the Solution under this RFP in a phased approach, including a required Pilot phase. Upon successful completion of the Pilot phase, the Solution may be expanded in the next step to support the full range of wireless infrastructure and support Solution at multiple indoor and outdoor locations. If the Pilot phase is successful and the City decides to proceed to full production, the City intends to own the hardware, with the selected Proponent responsible for ongoing support and maintenance. Proponents should outline their proposed support structure and any associated costs for the production phase in their submissions. The City may decide, at its sole discretion, to deploy one or more Pilots with more than one Proponents.

Proponents are encouraged to propose a phased work plan for the iterative deployment of the Solution that aligns with this intent.
