The Work includes but is not limited to: the installation of approximately 14,000 square meters of roadway asphalt, 12,000 square meters of full depth milling, 1,900 square meters of inlay milling, 1,500 lineal meters of concrete curb and gutter, drainage, streetlighting, traffic signals, RRFB, landscaping, restoration, excavation, reshaping, concrete sidewalk, letdowns, and driveways, multi-use pathway, tack coat, traffic control, and reinstatement of permanent pavement markings.

The performance of the Works shall be along the following Major Intersections within the City: 

1. Duthie Ave. – Pandora St. to Kitchener St.;
2. Kitchener St. – Duthie Ave. to Cul-de-Sac (Augusta Ave.);
3. Sperling Ave. – Union St. to Halifax St.;
4. Gilley Ave. and Imperial St. Intersection;
5. MacDonald Ave. – Parker St. intersection;
6. Nelson Ave. – Victory St. intersection;
7. Royal Oak – Victory St. intersection, and
8. Parker Street – MacDonald Av intersection

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #31-02-22 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Works).  No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the Owner. 

All addenda, amendments or further information will be published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca. It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates. The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.
