The purpose of this Request for Proposal (‘RFP’) is to invite Proposals for the construction of two golf cart storage additions in the City of Burnaby (‘City’), British Columbia, Canada.

The City of Burnaby operates 2 full-length 18-hole golf courses with driving ranges: Riverway Golf Course and Burnaby Mountain Golf Course. At each of these sites, there are currently a mixture of gas-powered and electricity-powered golf carts. The City of Burnaby has committed to electrifying their entire fleets of golf carts at both sites. To accomplish that, the amount of storage and charging capacity will need to be expanded. The objective of this project is to increase the capacity for storage and charging of electric golf carts in semi-heated spaces through built additions to both sites. Refer to all provided Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Geotechnical drawings and specifications for the scope of Work. Work shall include making good all paved and landscaped areas affected by the Work.

An OPTIONAL site visit for this RFP will be held on July 15, 2026 commencing at 11:00 A.M. Proponents are requested to meet in front of Riverway Golf Course Pro Shop located at 9001 Bill Fox Way, Burnaby, BC. The optional site visit will continue right after the first location, at approximately 12:15 P.M. in front of Burnaby Mountain Golf Course Pro Shop located at 7600 Halifax Street, Burnaby, BC. Sub-Contractors may join the site visit.
