The City of Burnaby’s (“City”) intent of this Request for Qualification (“RFQ”) is to obtain Responses from experienced Qualified Security Assessor (“QSA”) companies (i.e., firms certified by the PCI Security Standards Council to employ QSAs and conduct PCI DSS assessments), to be registered on the City’s pre-qualified list in order to provide Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance assessment services and related advisory support. The City currently operates as a Level 3 merchant and utilizes a range of card-present and card-not-present payment environments, including stand-alone PIN pads, POS-integrated End-to-End Encryption (“E2EE”) and Point-to-Point Encryption (“P2PE”) solutions, Moneris Checkout, Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) platforms, and virtual terminals. Since 2016, the City has successfully completed annual PCI DSS assessments performed by QSA companies. The Consultant must be capable of supporting continued compliance through formal assessments, documentation, remediation support, and technical advisory services.
