The City of Burnaby’s (“City”) intent of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to obtain Proposals from a qualified consulting team (“Proponent”) with expertise in spray park design with a landscape architectural and engineering background, as further detailed herein. The intent for this project is to convert the existing wading pool to a new spray park and add minor support amenities. The design will be well integrated into the overall park programming and development. The goal is to ensure that the design is interactive and engaging to provide play opportunities for all abilities and an age group of 2-12. The existing wading pool area is approximately 365m2. The intent is for construction to occur in 2027. |
