The Owner invites tenders for:

Intersection improvements along Imperial Street at Walker Avenue and Leibly Avenue.  The Work includes the installation of a new traffic signal at Walker Ave. intersection and Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon (RRFB) at Leibly Ave., and reconstruction of curb and gutter and let downs for both locations. Works would include any modification to existing storm system with the curb realignment.

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #31-02-22 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Works).  No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the City.  

Only the following Pre-Qualified General Contractors will be invited to tender this project:

It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates. The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.

The Contract is based on the MMCD Platinum Edition for the Instructions to Tenderers - Part II and General Conditions.  The MMCD 2019 Edition is applicable to this Contract for the Specifications and Standard Detail Drawings.
