The City of Burnaby (“City”) is requesting Proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to supply, implement and support to the City a SaaS-based online portal for verbal and/or written reference check services which can provide meaningful insight to interviewed candidates. The Solution should entail the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, using a variety of competency-based questions, to assist the City to make a well-informed hiring decision. The system shall be easy to use for both City staff and candidates. The City’s preference is for a cloud-based platform which respects the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (“FOIPPA”), and should adhere to the City’s security protocols. The City intends to award a Contract for a one (1) year term, with options of four (4) each, one (1) year terms for a total possible term of five (5) years, in accordance with the attached terms, conditions and requirements of this RFP.
