The City of Burnaby invites Proposals from qualified and experienced multidisciplinary consulting teams to prepare an Ecological Restoration and Forest Landscape Management Plan (“Plan”) for a priority natural area within Halifax Park, located at 6925 Halifax Street, Burnaby, British Columbia.

The intent of this Request for Proposals ("RFP") is to retain a Consultant with demonstrated expertise in urban forestry, ecological restoration, silviculture, environmental assessment, and natural asset management to develop a comprehensive management plan for approximately 0.9 hectares of degraded urban forest. The Plan will establish a long-term framework for ecological restoration, forest regeneration, successional understory planting, invasive species management, habitat enhancement, trail improvements, and adaptive management at Halifax Park . The completed Plan will guide future restoration works and serve as the basis for subsequent construction and restoration contracts at Halifax Park.
