Notice is hereby given by the City of Burnaby of its intent to enter into a contract with Oracle Canada ULC for Talent Acquisition for Midsize Cloud services for a 24-month period commencing 2024 November 26 to 2026 November 25.
The total value of the contract is $117,901.46 CAD including GST and PST.

The City of Burnaby did not call for competitive proposals for the following reasons:
• The vendor has specific knowledge of the proprietary products;
• Manufacturer’s warranty may be void if serviced by an unapproved vendor;
• It is the City’s opinion that there is currently no other vendor able to support these services; and
• The impact of introducing a new software and support provider would affect costs as well as resources.
Companies wishing to object to this decision should submit a letter of objection presenting specific reasons for their objection. The required experience and resources, with proven ability to offer the same or better services in the same timeframe, are key criteria with regard to consideration of an objection.
