The City of Burnaby invites Tenders from pre-qualified general contractors to complete the specified Work, as further detailed herein. The issue of these documents does not confer any licence or grant for any other purpose.

Following Request for Qualification #147-07/20 Pre-Qualification of General Contractors Civic Projects up to $5 Million, only the following pre-qualified General Contractors will be invited to tender this project:

1. Alfred Horie Construction Co. Ltd.
2. Halse-Martin Construction Co. Ltd.
3. Heatherbrae Builders Co. Ltd.
4. Holaco Construction (1997) Ltd.
5. Matra Construction Inc.
6. Turn-Key Construction Inc.

An OPTIONAL site visit for this Tender will be held on September 1, 2022 commencing at 3:00 P.M. Tenderers are requested to meet in front of the City of Burnaby Still Creek Works Yard Building located at 4840 Still Creek Drive, Burnaby, BC V5C 0H4.  All attendees should wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the duration of the site visit. Further, the City recommends that attendees wear non-medical grade masks for the duration of the site visit.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY, shall be received by the on-line bidding system. Hardcopy submissions not permitted.

Tenderers are cautioned that the timing of their submission is based on when the Tender is RECEIVED by the on-line bidding system, not when a Tender is submitted, as transmission can be delayed due to file transfer size, transmission speed, etc. 

For the above reasons, it is recommended that sufficient time is given to complete your submission and to resolve any issues that may arise. The closing time and date shall be determined by the on-line bidding system’s web clock.

Tenders will not be opened in public. All unverified results will be posted on the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca by 10:00 am the next business day after the Tender Closing Time and Date.
