The City of Burnaby (“City”) is requesting Proposals from qualified Proponents to supply and implement a new Enterprise Content Management Platform (ECM Platform) solution to address content discovery and clean-up, migration, content management, and records management as further detailed herein. The City is preparing for digital transformation focused on establishing modern, best practice, compliant content and records management capabilities. Currently, the City stores the vast majority of digital content on network file shares, as well as some legacy content management and physical records management solutions. The City’s goals include analysis and clean-up of file share content, migration of select content to an ECM Platform, implementation of said ECM Platform across the organization to provide document management, collaboration and automation capabilities, as well as implementation of records management capabilities within the ECM Platform to address both digital and physical records. The City’s preference is for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. The solution must be British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (“FOIPPA”) compliant; and should adhere to the City’s security protocols.
