This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) invites proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to provide general planning services, including support for consultation, research and policy development. These services are intended to supplement the work of City staff on projects that require additional resources for short-duration assistance, in areas such as public and stakeholder consultation and research and policy development on a variety of land use planning topics at pre-determined rates, on an “as and when requested” basis. 

The City intends to award a Contract for a (3) three-year term, with an option to renew for two (2) one-year extensions for a total possible term of five (5) years, upon mutual agreement. 

Work assignments will be issued on an “as and when requested” basis at the discretion of the City in accordance with the attached terms, conditions and requirements. The City does not guarantee any work would be requested.
