The Owner invites tenders for:

Four (4) Site upgrades in the City of Burnaby:

• Pavement restoration, sidewalk replacement, and curb let down modifications for Garden Village Neighbourhood;
• Pavement restoration for Central Boulevard between Willingdon Avenue and McKay Avenue;
• Pavement restoration for Altringham Court and Mayfield Street; and,
• Pavement restoration and cul-de-sacs on Elgin Place and Baffin Place north of Oakland Street.

The Work includes:

• 765m of concrete curb and gutter;
• 105m of asphalt curb;
• 3,510m² of concrete sidewalk;
• 54,960m² of asphalt milling;
• 9,130 tonnes of hot-mix asphalt;
• 60m³ of imported topsoil;
• 580m² of hydraulic seeding; and
• 695 tonnes of gravel.

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors for the Area of Specialization of Roads may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #31-02-22 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Works).  No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the Owner.  

All addenda, amendments or further information will be published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca.  It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates.  The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.
