The City of Burnaby (“City”) wishes to engage a qualified consulting team (the “Consultant”) with the appropriate experience, expertise, qualified personnel to provide Mechanical Design, and Consulting Services as the City progresses through completion of design and construction to replace the current seven (7) Heat Pumps at the Yukon Crescent Children’s Centre. The consultant team shall be led by a Prime Mechanical Consultant. Additional consultants shall be included upon recommendation by the Prime Consultant. The issue of these documents does not confer any license or grant for any other purpose.

Pre-Qualification

Following Request for Qualification #10-01/21 Pre-qualification of Consultants for Building Maintenance Services (FM), only the following pre-qualified Proponents will be invited for this RFP:

1)         Flow Engineering Inc.;

2)         Integral Group Consulting (BC) LLP;

3)         Stantec Consulting Ltd.;

4)         The AME Consulting Group Ltd.;

An optional site visit for this RFP will be held on July 28, 2022 commencing at 11:15 AM. Proponents are requested to meet outside the entrance lobby of The Yukon Cresent Daycare located at 2123 Yukon Crescent, Burnaby, BC. The City recommends that attendees wear non-medical grade masks for the duration of the site visit. Sub-Contractors are able to join the site visit.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY, shall be received by the on-line bidding system. Hardcopy submissions not permitted.

Proponents are cautioned that the timing of their submission is based on when the Proposal is RECEIVED by the on-line bidding system, not when a Proposal is submitted, as transmission can be delayed due to file transfer size, transmission speed, etc. 

For the above reasons, it is recommended that sufficient time is given to complete your submission and to resolve any issues that may arise. The closing time and date shall be determined by the on-line bidding system’s web clock.

Late submissions are not permitted by the on-line bidding system.

Proposals will not be opened in public.
