PRE-QUALIFICATION

Only the following Pre-qualified General Contractors – RFQ# 48-02-24 will be invited to tender this
Project.

An optional site tour has been arranged to begin at 09:30 AM on January 16, 2025 at the site, 6501 Deer
Lake Avenue in Burnaby, BC to visit and examine the works. The Prequalified General Contractors or their
agents shall meet at the Burnaby Heritage Museum Administrative Building entrance located at 6501 Deer
Lake Avenue and register their presence with the Consultant at the site tour stating the name of the contractor
they represent.

Each tender shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond duly executed with the name of the Project and the Owner
in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Tender Price.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY, shall be received by the on-line bidding system. Hardcopy
submissions not permitted.

Tenderers are cautioned that the timing of their submission is based on when the tender submission is
RECEIVED by the on-line bidding system, not when a tender submission is submitted, as transmission
can be delayed due to file transfer size, transmission speed, etc.
For the above reasons, it is recommended that sufficient time is given to complete your submission and to
resolve any issues that may arise. The closing time and date shall be determined by the on-line
bidding system’s web clock.
