The Owner invites tenders for:
Construction of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations at Still Creek Works Yard (SCWY). The Work includes supply and installation of EV chargers, communication gateways, and vehicle gates in the staff parking lot. The Works include all civil, mechanical, structural, and  electrical installations specified in the Contract specifications and Drawings. Works include:

• 107 Level 2 EV charging stations;
• 6 DC Fast Chargers;
• 420m2 of trench patching, 105m2 of asphalt paving;
• Removal of 1 catch basin, installation of 1 catch basin and 5m of 200mm CB lead;
• Concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk restoration;
• 65m of perimeter fencing and 1 sliding pedestrian gate;
• Installation of two (2) automatic gate operators, swing gates, support posts, median island, and
associated Works;
• Restoration of landscaping and pavement markings.

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors for the Area of Specialization 2.0 – Roads may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per  Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #31-02-22 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Works). No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the Owner. All addenda, amendments or further information will be  published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca. It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates. The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.
