The Owner invites tenders for:

The Work shall include, but is not limited to 5,600 tonnes of roadway asphalt, 3,615 square meters of stamped asphalt parking and driveway tie ins, 2,600 lineal meters of concrete curb and gutters, 2,365 square meters of concrete sidewalk, 7,700 cubic meters of common excavation, 16,855 tonnes of import gravel, removals, road drainage, storm sewer, thermoplastic line painting, signage, street lighting, communication ducting and landscaping.

The performance of the Work shall be along the following roadways:

1. Antrim Avenue – Short Street to Imperial Street;
2. Mavis Street – Antrim Avenue to MacPherson Avenue;
3. Dorset Street – Antrim Avenue to Merritt Avenue;
4. Sellers Avenue – Dorset Street to Imperial Street;
5. Merritt Avenue – Beresford Street to Imperial Street;
6. Strathearn Avenue – Marine Drive to Sunland Place;
7. Sunland Place – full extents north of Strathearn Avenue;
8. Laneway north of Sunland Place – Sunland Place to 140m NW.

This tender is being issued electronically through the on-line bidding system at https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca where Pre-Qualified contractors for the Area of Specialization for 2.0 – Roads may download the tender documents directly from the aforementioned website, as per Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) #31-02-22 Pre-Qualification for Construction Services (Engineering Capital Works).  No registration tracking or other recording of tender document holder will be performed by the City. 

All addenda, amendments or further information will be published through https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca . It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates. The tenderer is advised that the Owner or Contract Administrator reserves the right to not respond to enquiries received within four (4) Days of the Tender Closing Date.
